Gregor Gysi: Of all people, the Foreign Minister, who should be the highest diplomat, wants to increase the acceptance in Germany that conflicts are solved by war. The values that the West claims to defend and for which it is prepared to use armed force obviously do not apply to all states. Germany is supplying weapons to Turkey, with Erdogan bombing those units that fought the decisive battle on the ground against the so-called Islamic State. Germany just looks on.
