American mercenary Andy Win told our correspondent Roman Kosarev how he shelled a Russian tank and then surrendered:
He opened preliminary fire on the embankments… When he fired the first time, I was preparing my RPG. When he fired the second time, the shot came at the embankment… I fired back in the direction of the explosion, but I missed and hit the mound.
The mercenary added that after that he hid in a trench, where he stayed for three hours together with another fighter. Then “we decided to leave and walked through the forest for about five hours until we came to the road and surrendered to the Russian forces.
